2022 Chevrolet Silverado HD Adds Multi-Flex Tailgate

Silverado HD Multi-Flex Tailgate | Bangor, ME

Our favorite hardworking heavy-duty truck is more functional and versatile now, thanks to this exciting addition. The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado HD is following the lead of its light-duty counterpart and adding the innovative Multi-Flex Tailgate to its models. The Multi-Flex Tailgate features six unique functions that make it easier to use and access the Chevy Silverado HD truck bed so that loading and unloading becomes a simple task.

You can control the Multi-Flex Tailgate and switch between the six distinct settings through a button on your driver’s instrument panel, two buttons located on the tailgate, or on your key fob. The different functions of the tailgate include configurations on the primary and inner gate. As with any traditional tailgate, you can fold down the primate gate, but now you also have the ability to fold down the inner gate to access a full-width step that supports up to 375 pounds. An easy access mode on the inner gate helps you load and unload the bed, while a primary gate load stop and inner gate load stop helps secure your cargo, even those that are longer or taller. You can also transform the inner gate into a standing work surface so you can complete paperwork at the end of your job or enjoy a quick lunch.

The Multi-Flex Tailgate is available on all 2022 Silverado HD trims. You can find the latest Silverado HD models at Quirk Chevrolet of Bangor.
