Cadillac InnerSpace Concept Showcases Autonomous Luxury Travel.

Cadillac innovation never stops moving, and the recently unveiled InnerSpace concept is the latest stunning example of how the luxury brand continues to push forward with exciting new products and ideas.

The InnerSpace concept is a two-passenger electric model that showcases just how luxurious and relaxing travel can be in an autonomous vehicle.

The underlying Ultium Platform allows for a flat floor that maximizes room inside the vehicle. The spaciousness of the vehicle is matched by its quiet ride, enabled by intelligent SoundComfort tires made with advanced materials and designed specifically for electric vehicles.

During the journey, both passengers can interact with personalized Augmented Reality Engagement, Wellness Recovery, and Entertainment themes using an enormous LED screen and AI-powered biometrics. The roof and sides incorporate panoramic glass to provide a better view. For easy entry and exit, the seats are designed to pivot out while the doors and roof open.

InnerSpace now joins PersonalSpace and SocialSpace in Cadillac’s Halo Concept Portfolio of experimental electric and autonomous vehicles. The goal: to showcase all the ways that advanced mobility technologies can improve the travel experience.

“Electrification and autonomous driving will fundamentally change the role of vehicles and the experiences customers have with them,” said Bryan Nesbitt, the executive director of GM’s Global Advanced Design and Global Architecture Studio. “We’re exploring where that will go with these innovative concepts, envisioning mobility as an ally of wellness, giving customers the ultimate luxury, more personal time, rather than taking it.”

So far, InnerSpace is just a concept vehicle — but if you’d like to learn more about all the intriguing technologies available right now from Cadillac, visit our showroom here at Quirk Cadillac of Bangor and prepare to be impressed!
