3 Cool Features on the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ

2023 Cadillac LYRIQ | Bangor, ME

The LYRIQ is a groundbreaking addition to the Cadillac lineup. This all-electric SUV boasts robust rear-wheel-drive performance and innovative designs throughout that herald a new era for the automaker. Here are some of the Cadillac LYRIQ features that we think are the coolest.

A massive LED display.

While other luxury vehicles on the market offer a small informational display screen for the driver, the LYRIQ has one that’s 33 inches in diameter and nearly takes up the entire length of the dashboard. This LED display is curved so every inch is angled toward the driver’s seat, providing a clear view of the SUV’s settings and status. It’s so advanced that it can emit over one billion colors.

Hand-free Super Cruise™.

An enviable feature that’s becoming increasingly available across the Cadillac lineup, the Super Cruise™ semi-autonomous driving system is available on the 2023 LYRIQ. When activated on compatible roads, this system will take control of the wheel and safely navigate the LYRIQ in traffic.

A dancing light show.

The 2023 LYRIQ has over 700 LED lights pinned throughout its exterior body in components like the headlights and taillights. When you approach your LYRIQ and unlock it, those lights will glow in a specific, choreographed sequence that will look like the Cadillac crest is flashing across the SUV.

These are just a few of the many innovations on the brand-new LYRIQ. To reserve your 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ, contact us at Quirk Cadillac in Bangor, Maine.

2021 Cadillac Escalade Hailed Among Best Looking SUVs

2021 Cadillac Escalade | Bangor, ME

Want to make a big impression? The 2021 Cadillac Escalade was hailed as one of the 20 Best Looking SUVs of 2021 by U.S. News & World Report, in part because of its imposing stature and sci-fi-worthy interior technologies.

The 2021 model is the longest Escalade yet. It never lacked road presence in the past, and it’s got even more of it now. With 22-inch wheels, a massive gloss-black grille, sharp full-LED headlamps and tasteful chrome highlights, the Escalade is simply unmissable.

But it was the interior that had the staff at U.S. News truly smitten. “Inside, the Escalade flaunts Cadillac’s huge strides in technology and refinement,” writes Zach Doell for the publication. He continues on to say that “the cabin is trimmed with impeccable materials.”

The 2021 Cadillac Escalade features the industry’s first 38-inch curved OLED display as well as 16-way power-adjustable driver and front passenger, semi-aniline leather seats with heating, ventilation, and massaging capabilities.

It also offers nine different interior trims, four seat-insert designs, and hand-finished leather and natural wood as far as the eye can see. In other words, if you’re looking for the most handsome, comfortable ride for you and up to seven other passengers — not to mention 121 cubic feet of cargo volume — the Cadillac Escalade is the way to go.

The 2021 Cadillac XT6 Is Set to Get Even More Luxurious

2021 Cadillac XT6 | Bangor, ME

The Cadillac XT6 is receiving some great updates for the 2021 model year that make it an even better option for families in Bangor, Maine. One of the biggest changes is that the 2021 Cadillac XT6 will add an all-new Luxury trim.

The Luxury trim will be the new base trim level for the crossover and should allow the model to appeal to more drivers. It will have many of the same styling cues as the Premium Luxury trim, including the elegant Galvano grille surround.

The Luxury trim will stand out from both the Premium Luxury and Sport trims by coming standard with a different engine. The Cadillac XT6 Luxury will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine that produces 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. However, each trim will pair its engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Much about this new trim is still unknown, but more details should come available when the 2021 Cadillac XT6 arrives at dealerships later this year. Nevertheless, it’s clear that the Luxury trim will be an ideal choice if you want a less expensive, but still luxurious, family hauler.

If you’d like to be notified when the 2021 Cadillac XT6 makes its way to Quirk Cadillac of Bangor, be sure to give us a call.

Car Maintenance, Service

Spring Vehicle Maintenance Tips

spring vehicle maintenance

Punxsutawney didn’t see his shadow on Groundhog Day, which means spring is coming early. Transition your Chevrolet or Cadillac from the cold winter weather with these easy spring vehicle maintenance tasks.

Oil and fluids

Doing an oil change at least twice a year is necessary in optimizing your car’s future performance. The end of winter is a perfect time for the first one, as the cold temperatures take its toll on your engine. Check your other fluids — including the coolant and brake fluid — to see if they are at the right level.

Wipers

Whether you use winter wiper blades or your current pair is worn, replace them and refill your washer fluid. Spring is the rainiest season of the year, and fresh blades will improve your visibility.

Tires

Inspect your tires for damage, leaks, cracks, and low tread. Spring rain creates slippery roads, so you need the best traction from your tires. If you use winter tires, switch them out for your all-season tires. The soft rubber on your car’s winter tires doesn’t play well with warmer weather.

Lights

Check your car’s lights, including the headlights, taillights, turn signals, and fog lights. Replace any burnt-out bulbs.

If you do not have the time or need assistance with your vehicle, schedule a service appointment at Quirk Chevrolet Cadillac of Bangor.
