2021 Colorado ZR2 Design Update

2021 Colorado ZR2 | Bangor, ME

Chevrolet recently unveiled its latest look for the midsize Colorado, and it looks exciting, to say the least. The 2021 Colorado is set to be one of the most capable midsize trucks in Chevy’s lineup, especially the ZR2 trim, which is fully off-road ready. This is one truck that will drop jaws on both the highway and on off-road trails.

So what’s new on the 2021 Chevy Colorado? You can find a new Sand Dune Metallic exterior paint color on the Z71 and ZR2 models, as well as new Chevy bowtie emblems and an embossed tailgate. The ZR2 off-road variant comes with an entirely new appearance, with touches like a front fascia with bold “Chevrolet” lettering. There’s also a new front end, which makes the truck look more dynamic while also improving visibility and airflow.

“We’ve sold 520,000 Colorado pickups in five years through a relentless, foot-on-the-gas approach to product and feature updates,” said Bob Krapes, director of marketing at Chevrolet Trucks. “With its new-look front end and tailgate, Colorado will now have a more aggressive appearance to match its award-winning capability.”

In addition to styling, the ZR2 will have several features to optimize capability. This includes segment-exclusive Multimatic DSSV™ position-sensitive dampers, skid plates, cast-iron control arms, red tow hooks, a two-inch suspension lift, and more.

The 2021 Chevrolet Colorado is set to start tearing up roads later this year, and we can’t wait to see you here at Quirk Chevrolet Cadillac of Bangor for a test drive.

If you’re in the market for a new Chevy truck, you might be considering the 2019 Colorado and Silverado 1500. Now, you have just one more reason to bring either of these bad boys home — they ranked on U.S. News & World Report’s list of the “Best Trucks for Families in 2019.”

The 2019 Colorado earned the judges’ recognition for its variety of engine options, as well as its advanced tech, smooth performance, and comfortable interior. It also offers one of the roomiest standard box sizes in the compact truck segment, yielding a maximum cargo capacity of 49.9 cubic feet. It will easily accommodate your family’s possessions on a road trip.

The Colorado also puts forth three key infotainment assets: Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay®, and Bluetooth® audio streaming. That way, you and your loved ones can stay in touch with contacts while enjoying the latest apps, games, and playlists.

The full-sized Silverado 1500 truck also captured the critics’ praise for its own array of family-friendly amenities. Chevy has endowed this truck with advanced driver-assist tech such as Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert to enhance your crew’s safety on each journey. And the brand’s exclusive Teen Driver feature will allow you to monitor your teens’ driving habits even when you’re not able to accompany them in person.

Celebrate these models’ recent awards when you bring your family to Quirk Chevrolet Cadillac of Bangor to test drive them.
