Up to Six Cadillac EVs Will Join the Lineup by 2025

Cadillac EV Lineup | Bangor, ME

Electric vehicles are the way of the future, and Cadillac is leading the charge. According to The News Wheel, Cadillac is on track to release up to six all-electric vehicles by 2025.

The first to appear will be the Cadillac Lyriq, which is set to launch in just a year. That’s right, this time next year, you could be driving your own Lyriq, an all-electric SUV. The Lyriq is one of the hallmark vehicles of General Motors’ larger promise to introduce 30 EVs internationally by 2025.

In addition to the Lyriq, Cadillac is laying the groundwork for three other electric SUVs. The first two to follow will be the Optiq and the Symboliq. While not confirmed, the rumor mill speculates that we can also expect an all-electric variant of the wildly popular Escalade luxury SUV.

But it’s not just crossovers and SUVs getting the electric treatment. The Cadillac Celestiq will serve as the luxury automaker’s flagship electric sedan. This model should hit our lot in Bangor, Maine, by 2025.

The sixth and final EV could be a “low-roof EV” that crosses a four-door coupe and a sedan. A name has still not been released.

Meet the Cadillac Live Virtual Showroom

Cadillac Live Virtual Showroom | Bangor, ME

Cadillac is changing the way you shop for cars with its new Cadillac Live virtual showroom. Using human product specialists and the latest high-tech gear, Cadillac Live lets you remotely speak to an expert about a car you’re interested in buying, complete with a full tour of the vehicle. Plus, you can see different trims and colors using digital tools, which gives you a wider selection and unprecedented convenience in the car-buying process.

Cadillac launched the new program in Canada, though it’s scheduled to make its way across the U.S. in a short while. Using an iPhone X, Osmo Mobile gimbal, and a Bluetooth headset, a specialist can have a one-way video chat with you as you sit in the comfort of your home or office. Combining personal shopping with a digital showroom, Cadillac Live is ideal if you have a busy work schedule or if you don’t live near a Cadillac dealership.

The Cadillac brand also worked with marketing researchers to show that “71 percent of customers report switching to a competitor’s product after finding their selection process easier.” This is especially true for luxury car shoppers; one reason the automaker is eager to make the selection process as easy as possible.

Currently, the Cadillac Live site is headed to California, Illinois, New Jersey, and New York, but the service will soon make their way to other locations across the U.S. Offering a truly unique shopping experience, Cadillac Live is the future of car buying.
